Working with your care team
For adults who also see a doctor or a registered dietitian, or who want to.
What sessions are like
Sessions stay about you. With your written permission, Dalila can speak with your doctor or dietitian so that everyone works from the same plan.
Who does what
Your doctor looks after your body. A registered dietitian gives nutrition advice. Dalila looks after the conversation about what eating does for you.
What this is not
Dalila does not give medical advice or nutrition advice. If you feel physically unwell, call your doctor, and in an emergency call 911.

Length, pace and payment
Length
Calls with your care team are arranged with you first. Sessions stay 50 minutes.
Pace
Dalila sets the pace with you. We do not promise a number of sessions.
How it is paid
By insurance for some plans, or by card if you pay yourself. Your fee is given in writing before you start.

Questions
Three questions
Will my plan pay for a dietitian?
We do not have a dietitian on staff. Many plans cover visits with a registered dietitian only with a medical diagnosis, or limit the number of visits. Ask your plan before you book one. We can share names of registered dietitians in the Concord area.
What if weekly therapy is not enough?
Weekly sessions are not the right level for everyone. If you feel physically unwell, or your eating has begun to affect your body, we will help you find more support, and we can keep working with you alongside it.
What is confidential, and what are the limits?
What you share stays in the session. The law sets limits: if someone is at serious risk of harming themselves or another person, or if abuse of a child or an older adult is suspected, Dalila may have to tell others. She explains this in writing before you start.
